Bug reporting limited
2013-05-06
The SQLiteStudio bug tracker is now limited to report only bugs entered directly on the web interface. Reporting from SQLiteStudio no longer works in order to stop duplicate reports from 2.1.x line. Those bugs are minor and won't be fixed in 2.1.x series. If you have any outstanding bug - enter it via web interface. Reporting directly from SQLiteStudio will be reenabled for version 3.0.0, once it's released.
2.1.4 released
2013-05-02
Just a minor bugfix release. Fixed Db Conversion dialog.
2.1.3 released
2013-04-05
It's a quick bugfix release with few enhancements. See changelog for details.
Sayonara Tcl/Tk
2013-04-05
Couple of weeks ago I decided to move from Tcl to C++ (and from Tk to Qt). Since this requires entire project to be rewritten from scratch, I decided to mark it with version 3.0.0. Work is in progress. Details can be found on forum (click). There will still be some bugfix releases for 2.1.x series, but not very often.
2.1.2 is out!
2013-02-10
This version fixes many outstanding bugs. Upgrade is strongly recommended. See changelog for details. Mac OS X port is still unstable, but with this version might get just a little more stable.
New domain
2013-02-08
Project has a new domain - sqlitestudio.pl (the old one was sqlitestudio.one.pl). Old one is kept for now (but it redirects to new one), so everybody can adapt.
Mac OS X support
2013-01-28
Due to SQLiteStudio problems with Mac OS X (described here) all the money from donations will be spent for the Mac box. So far I've collected about 20% of Mac box cost. The faster I can buy a Mac, the sooner most of Mac related bugs can be fixed.
2.1.1 released.
2013-01-24
This one brings bugfixes for most of bugs detected and reported in 2.1.0. Should be much more stable than 2.1.0, although not on Mac OS X - people using Mac OS X read this (click).
2.1.0 released!
2012-12-31
After over a year - there it is! New major version introduces many new fancy features. Some of you can see in the gallery. More you can read about on the ChangeLog page. Enjoy!

The Beta 1 is out if anyone's interested. Details - click here.
2.1.0 is almost ready!
2012-09-05
A little status update. I've finished development work on 2.1.0! I'm still working very hard on getting Mac OS X binary that doesn't crash on random machines. This is harder than one might think. I'm also updating the manual. After this is done the 2.1.0 will be released, so it's getting closer and closer! :)
2.0.28 is out!
2012-08-24
It's another bugfix releas. Possibly the last one before 2.1.0, but not sure yet.
2.0.27 is out!
2012-07-02
This is a bugfix release after a long time. Unfortunately many MacOSX related problems are still there - they are really hard to track down and fix, but they will be fixed eventually. Nevertheless, many other bugs are fixed with this release, so enjoy!
It's not dead.
2012-05-10
Hello folks! Due to my current situation (I have no PC nor internet connection at home) I wasn't updating much in regards of development, but I should be back on rails in a week or few. Please be patient and be sure that the project is still alive!

Thank you folks!
2011-10-24
I'm very grateful for people who donated the project. It really makes me motivated to keep working even more (still bugfixing 2.0.x and working on 2.1.x parallely). When I have some time I will be setting up some routine to contact donors and maybe publishing them on some kind of list of donors, or maybe I'll honor them in some other way. I don't know yet. Anyway, once again - thank you!

This is another bugfix release to bring 2.0.x series even more to perfection. It fixes about 20 bugs. Binaries for FreeBSD are no longer provided, because they're too hard to maintain and pretty much no one uses them.

Status update
2009-12-26
After quiet long delay I want to ensure everyone that work on SQLiteStudio is still in progress. I currently suspended it for a while (I got to pass academic degree project), but I'll back to it ASAP. For now I can tell few interesting things that are already done in recent development version: 1. SQL parser - now it's the real "Parser", not a Regular Expression substitution, so we have much more smart syntax checking (marking errors on the fly!), smart syntax completion and much more! 2. Automatic checking for new version at application startup (can be disabled). 3. Exporting has been completly rewritten. Now it's plugin-based. 4. Status bar (below SQL editor) now contains icons to identify error/warning/info messages more easly. 5. Bug reporting has been rewritten - now it doesn't use webbrowser. User just fills bug report directly from SQLiteStudio (which usually contains needed information at the begining).
SQLiteStudio manual published
2009-08-07
Manual is almost done. Only few last chapters needs to be written, so current state is already available under Documentation -> SQLiteStudio manual, as well as directly from SQLiteStudio menu -> Manual.

2009-08-05
Well folks, 1.1.3 is out! It introduces port to FreeBSD, but it's experimental and doesn't support SQLite2. Binary for all systems, including FreeBSD are ready in download section. There are also new translations - Spanish and German, thanks to authors for contribution! Enjoy!

Version 1.1.0 released!
2008-12-24

Solaris port!
2008-11-05
SQLiteStudio 1.1 (still in development) runs on Solaris! I'm also working on ports for MacOSX and FreeBSD, but I cannot promise they will appear in version 1.1. Solaris binaries will propably be provided for download.
Apology
2008-11-05
I apologize to everyone who reported a bug or an idea via 'Bug Report' interface on this website - I wasn't responding becouse bug reporting engine was putting reports to last page of bugs forum, thus I wasn't aware of their existance. It will be fixed. At this moment I'm in the middle of writting responses to all reports.
Work in progress
2008-09-11
I want to reassure everyone. Work is still in dynamic progress for version 1.1.0. Most notable changes you can expect are: SQLite 2 support, rewritten SQL parser (better SQL editor completion hints, better formatting, better handling/recognizing of statements written by hand) and much more.
